An interesting statistic was announced by the Fed. It stated “In 2008, U.S. households’ net worth tumbled by $11 trillion — a decline in a single year that equals the combined annual output of Germany, Japan and the U.K.”

The Stock Market Control

Wow, that is amazing. It really shows the control that the stock market has on all of our well being. This is why our parents always pounded in our heads, “Be diversified in your investments.” I remember as a young adult thinking, “What does that really mean?” Besides, the stock market was the place to be in the 1990’s!

Don’t Miss the Boat Now

Well, today we see the wisdom of those urgings by our parent and/or stock brokers. Here’s where real estate comes in. As we are trying to find a safe place to put our money now (the stock market is a little scary these days) I remember the old saying, “Invest in real estate, they aren’t making any more of that!” While I don’t remember who to attribute these words of wisdom I do know that they make more sense today than ever before.

Buy Low - Sell High!

We all remember that old saying as well. It is easy to understand and seems almost too obvious to be serious. But, it is the most serious and important thing to remember when investing. Combine the power of this phrase with the real estate one and you have an obvious commons sense light bulb go off!

We have the opportunity that hasn’t been available in over 200 years! Real estate prices are very low and mortgage rates are at unprecedented low levels. Need I say more?! If you have the ability to get a loan now you should be buying smart real estate TODAY! Get a good Realtor and get going TODAY!

There will be a lot of millionaires made over the next five years. Who are they? they are the people who are already taking advantage of this convergence of two opportunities.

Some people will take ad vantage of this market. Some won’t. The question is, Will You?
