Highland Creek Swimming Lessons

Highland Creek is offering a variety of swim classes from beginner to advanced.  This program is designed for people of all ages.  The parent/child class is the only class that is designed specifically for younger children ages six months to two years old.  The ratio of instructor to student is 1:6.  The group lessons last for 30 minutes.

Session Dates

• June 15th - June 26th
• July 6th - July 17th
• July 20th - July 31st
• August 3rd - August 14th

Highland Creek is offering morning classes from 9:00-10:30 Monday - Thursday.  Class will be held at Clarke Creek Pool.  Make up classes will be held on Friday due to inclement weather or an uncontrollable pool related issue.

Cost of Classes

• Group Lessons $60
• Private Lessons $20 Per session
• Semi Private $10 Per session / per child (2 or more children)

Parent and Child
The class is designed for children 6 months - 2 years old.  This class will let children explore the water with a parent as well as with the instructor.

Starfish
Students will start to learn basic swimming skills, from introduction of breath control, floating on back and on front with support.

Seahorse
Students will start to develop confidence by floating on front and back alone.

Shark
Students will be introduced to rotary breathing and deeper water.

Whale
Students will be introduced to all four competitive strokes as well as sidestroke and elementary back stroke.

Private and Semi Private
Private and Semi Private lessons are also available to those students who may need one-on-one attention.  These classes are 30 minutes and are scheduled between the instructor and student.
