Home Sales in Charlotte, North Carolina on the Rise!

May 5, 2009 · Print This Article

The Charlotte, North Carlina real estate market is showing some signs of life.  At The Ramsey Group we have sold several homes in the past few months and now the market data shows that this is the trend.

In March the National Association of Realtors’ Pending Home Sales Index rose 3.2 percent.  This was the second increase in as many months.  This is the first two month in a row increase in almost a year.

So, it looks like we have a slight reprieve from the nightmare in January and February.  However, don’t expect prices to rise right away.  It will take a year or two to clear out all the inventory and reduce the supply.  Then, assuming the demand continues we can safely expect to see prices start a slow rise in the next three to five years.

The Charlotte Business Journal has an article giving more information on the rise in homes sales in Charlotte, North Carolina.

All contact people were friendly, polite, PROMPT and did what they said they would do. The amount of showings were phenomenal. The cruise was great fun and the moving van was very, very helpful.
