Is The Market Near The Bottom? - The Ramsey Group

The Charlotte area new home construction fell during the first quarter, even more deeply than nationwide.  Specifically, in Mecklenburg County, single family permits fell 62 percent in the first quarter.  The numbers for March alone were down 50 percent.  That was better than the drop of the two previous months, which could mean the downturn is bottoming out?  Perhaps there is hope that we’ve truly reached the bottom.
