What’s that new building going up on Eastfield Road? After a little detective work we found that it’s a new fire station for the Town of Huntersville. This particular station will serve the eastern Huntersville area. While this will start as a volunteer station it will be converted over to a municipal paid station in time. The projected completion date is unknown but the rate of construction is moving along at a fast pace.
