The blossoming Charlotte area is considered one of the choice areas to live in the country and is the fifth largest urban region in the nation boasting big-city amenities.

In merely 15 years, cow pastures and rural byways have matured into popular new developments offering spacious new homes at affordable prices. South of the growing North Mecklenburg town of Huntersville is the “University area,” Charlotte’s high-tech business and residential district that includes UNCC, the Carolina Medical Center University Hospital and the University Research Park. The average home price in the University area is approximately $181,000.
