What does one TRILLION dollars look like?

The Charlotte Real Estate Market and The U.S. Budget

The Charlotte Real Estate Market is very much like the real estate market throughout the country.  Our economy is the key driver to help the north Charlotte real estate market.  You need to decide what you think of the $3.6 Trillion budget!  Maybe a picture would help.

A budget in the Trillions of Dollars is a phenomenal amount.  It’s too big to really understand.  So, while the government is now throwing around budget numbers of 3.6 TRILLION dollars it would be good to know how much a trillion really is!!!  After visiting this site you will understand the magnitude of the budget!  And remember, the budget is 3.6 times what you see on this picture!  Just imagine this picture more than 3 and a half times!!!

The best picture representation of a trillion can be found by visiting:

The Real Estate Market is Affected by What The Government is Doing Now!

The stimulus plan for real estate is nice but at this point it is directed to new home buyers.  As well, the budget is all about spending.  This may be the biggest problem that will keep all the “stimulus” from correcting the problem we now face.  The numbers are staggering!

WOW! That’s amazing!!! I can’t believe the difference between a million and a trillion. I guess I never really thought about it like that! It makes me think about a $3.6 trillion dollar budget a lot differently. THANKS for the post!

That really was cool! It’s difficult to get one’s mind around large numbers, and graphics like the ones above really help. For two other interesting examples of graphical representations of data, see:

I heard a commentary about this very subject a few weeks ago. Assuming the reporter was accurate (I have no reason to disbelieve him), here’s what he came up with:

    – One trillion one dollar bills laid end to end would stretch from Washington, D.C., to the sun….and another 2 million miles.
    – One trillion one dollar bills stacked one atop the other would create a pile 72 miles high.
    – One trillion seconds ago, Neanderthals roamed the Earth (about 31,000 years ago).
    – One trillion dollars is enough money to give every man, woman and child in America about $3,300 each. Its also enough to give every human being on Earth about $150 each.
